The Jewish New Year is called Rosh Hashanah, which means “Head of the Year”. This is a very important holiday, like a person’s head. Indeed, without a head, our body cannot exist. Everything comes from the head – our thoughts and our emotions.
Therefore, this day is fateful both for each person individually, and for all mankind as a whole.
